Tyre Pressure Management System. Hyundai I20.
Discussion
I had a little bit of a problem when driving my Hyundai I20. The TPMS warning light illuminated on the console. I pulled to the side of the road and checked the tyre pressures which were between 32 and 35psi. No tell-tale warnings of tyre pressure loss either.
I thought it was just the hot weather affecting the tyre pressure, or perhaps a faulty tyre sensor but that wasn't the case. So, today before contacting the dealership, I tried something else to reset the TPMS and turn off the warning light. I pumped up the tyres to 39 psi and drove my car for one mile. Problem solved and warning light off. I then had to deflate the tyre pressure to normal.
