Recommendations for double din with car play?

I have a pioneer sph da 120, it’s next to useless.
Any recommendations for a replacement, needs to have apple car play and rear camera input.

What's useless about the Pioneer? Thought it got generally decent reviews even though its the low end of the Pioneer range.

I bought an Alpine ILX w690d which works fine. Got options for front and rear cameras, ot a capacitive screen and DAB. Also its a short chassis so will fit where room is tight (which was the prime consideration).

I had to remove a Pioneer from one car to another that had steering wheel controls, as I found it too dangerous to try and adjust the volume via touchscreen. The only thing I could find in a brand name with a rotary volume control was a Sony and so far I'm pretty happy with it.

Got Sony XAV AX3005 CarPlay units in our SLK and Alfa 159 - there’s probably a newer version out now but I have been very happy indeed with these (hence why we got another). Fast response times and work fine with the steering controls. Rear camera input. Quality hands free and voice control with the eyes down Siri or whatever it’s called.

There are volume buttons and track << >> controls along the bottom too.

Lots of places to get the appropriate trim and fittings so they look really good and almost OE fit
