Audi TT roadster - no DAB.

ETA - sorry, I later found out I need 'an active' Aeriel ?

"You want to look for an active antennas, that's one with a signal amplifier. The original TT one is/was active, with the antenna amp in the unit with two connectors, (fm and phone, I think). The amp got it's supply from the Audi radio, (Chorus or Concert). The cable in the lower, fm, connector feeds the antenna amp. So, if you fitted an aftermarket active antenna, and you have the original radio, you're good to go."

Why don't you just fix the aerial system that's already in the car? Lots of easy spares for the Mk1 TT
