Recently had a vehicle stolen from the drive, looking at getting a ghost immobiliser but just want to check if there’s actually any difference between what companies you go to? I am based in the Sussex/Kent area so if anyone has any suggestions who to go to that would be appreciated. I suspect that it’s the same outcome regardless as it’s just a software install as far as I’m aware but just incase?

I’ve got a Ghost 1 on my Transporter, brilliant device and I’d thoroughly recommend them.

Autowatch dealers register your device at head office so if there’s any issue in future you should be able to go to any dealer for support.

Just pick an established installer, you must have a car audio/security specialist near you I’d have thought?

I looked into these a while back, theyre sold on ebay etc for under £200. Exact same product, with the same app as well (for phone) just without the branding. Search “can bus immobiliser” or wfs-400 pro.
Tbh id probably pay the 500 price for fitiing and after sales support.

Mine was installed by Michael @ Sound Secure in Horley. It’s been fitted for about 4 years now and never had any issues. He comes to you as well.

Much better than a tracker IMHO as they prolong the time it take a thief to steal the car as a tracker does nothing - would you want your car back after being stolen and a little scrote had driven it likie he had stole it!

can you turn it off when leaving at a garage for service for example?

Yup, there’s a valet mode.
