Hi all, I'm after a dash cam but have no interest in it doing anything apart from recording an accident when it happens.

Therefore I'm looking for simplicity and reliability so in the event of a prang the footage is there.

I have read many reviews and can find the best for this and that but non that gives me the heads up on a simple camera that won't freeze, gets bugs or has connection issues for example software updates.

Is there such a simple fuss free dash cam out there or am I aiming far too high?

Love to hear your answers and recommendations or what definitely to avoid

Cheers

No dashcam is perfect and all will fail from time to time but I'd recommend whatever Viofo or Garmin offering fits your budget, ideally something with front and rear cameras smile

I recently bought a car I don't need, and there was a mini USB sticking out of the headling by the rear view mirror. So I bought a NavyCrest thing off Amazon for about forty quid. It came with a 32Gb Sandisk card, and seems to work, although I only plugged it in this afternoon.

If it's reliable, it might be useful. If it isn't, I'm £40 down, so won't lose sleep.
