Xtrons install in an Abarth...

Hi,

This is a real long shot, but I've just purchased a head unit made by Xtrons for my new to me 2016 Abarth Competizione. Has anyone had any experience installing them or any replacement head unit in the new style Abarth/Fiat 500? It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm just looking for any tips. I'm mechanically minded, but it's going to be the first head unit I've ever changed. Can't find any videos online which is a surprise, because the standard unit is shocking!

Have you got the small 5”? Screen?

I haven’t seen anyone change HU’s on a series 4 as yet - the larger screen and system wouldn’t even be plug and play - it’s all coded to the car. I’m not sure you’ll get much joy with a third party unit.

Thanks for your response. I have got the smaller 5" screen at the moment, I've attached an image. I did ask the question and was told by someone who works at ATD it should fit fine. I'll be gutted if it doesn't fit not just because it's going be a hassle to return, but also because I'm desperate to install CarPlay.

I'll double check tomorrow.
