Turning off touch-screens (pesky kids)
Discussion
Just wondering, do any cars with touchscreens allow the driver to press a little button, ideally on the back of the steering wheel or near the driver door, to prevent unwanted interference with the screen thereby protecting their choice of music, A/C setting etc?
I was looking at the Honda E and it gives the passenger a big screen to play with. That could drive me mad on a drive. Fine with the wife as she wouldn't be interested beyond entering the odd address but with kids, teenagers or immature friends, this could be awful.
Admittedly I'm one of those people who doesn't like touch screens in cars but this isn't about that. It's the distraction of someone tinkering with apps and games etc. while you're driving.
Usual caveat... sorry if already asked etc...
