As per title: how do your elderly parents listen to music in the car?
With car audio equipment having barely ever been simple in any car ever... what do people do when they can't work all the buttons and controls?
Speaking as an elderly parent, I stab away at the buttons on the dashboard, try to unlock my phone, access Youtube Music (one of my children put it on there) and skip to one of my preferred easy listening standards. All of this whilst weaving dangerously across the road. With car audio equipment having barely ever been simple in any car ever... what do people do when they can't work all the buttons and controls?
Happy to hear of any improvements I could make to my technique.

I am elderly, but I don't think I am your parent. With car audio equipment having barely ever been simple in any car ever... what do people do when they can't work all the buttons and controls?
However, I listen to music - if I listen to music, which I don't often - now, where was I - ah, yes - I listen to music on the radio. How else would I do it?
I meant to say, is this a trick question?

You mean you don't listen to your grammaphone in your car? However, I listen to music - if I listen to music, which I don't often - now, where was I - ah, yes - I listen to music on the radio. How else would I do it?

As a pretty elderly parent and grand parent.
In 1980 I had a TVR 3000M with a cassette tape deck, I used to keep one tape in it with the Hotel California album on one side and Rumours On the other , just flipped it over continually from one to the other.
I now get in my car with my smart phone loaded with 500 or so albums, various individual pieces of music, singles etc.
The phone connects automatically, the music available pops up on the infotainment pad on the dash, I can touch screen, voice command, toggle a central controller or use the phone interface!
I tend to put on my playlist with Hotel California and Rumours on and just let it play.
PS I still have the TVR but any music player was removed yonks ago.
