Do you mean DAB receiver or do you mean a fm transmitter?
In one of my cars I have a cheap FM transmitter that connects to my phone via bluetooth. I can then play audio from my phone to my FM car stereo.
This is the one I have, seems to be out of stock at Amazon

I have a 05 fiesta with an fm radio, I want to be able to listen to dab radio in it. I was told there’s adaptors that plug in and can use your phones Bluetooth to play dab radio apps to the device and broadcast it in fm to your radio?

As above or a similar one from Amazon like https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0756WZ2V3/ref=cm_sw_e...

In my experience these things are “noisy” in that if you’re not transmitting music the FM channel is full of static

You need an fm transmitter like the one I showed.
I have tried a few over the years, they vary in sound quality but do work.

The FM transmitters work, but they are prone to interference, particularly when you drive a reasonable distance and so move between radio station frequencies (so they shift over, or near to, the frequ you are using for your bluetooth transmitter).

If you want solid reliable quality, replace your head unit with anything cheap that has an aux input, then connect one of these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08L7ZC21T/ref...

Your phone bluetooths to the device, which is then plugged into the head unit with a standard 3.5mm stereo cable.

Fiestas don't come with DIN-sized replaceable radios. They are shaped to the dashboard, reduces theft...

I'm not sure I'd bother when you can get an actual Bluetooth head unit for a tenner more https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Receiver-Hands-...

Even half decent brands are less than a hundred for a single DIN Bluetooth unit. There's a blaupunkt one in my new Mk1 TT that pops up frequently for 75 quid and seems to be pretty good so far.

You can often buy pieces of trim that allow you to fit a normal stereo.

Most cars that common will have cheap converter kits, incartec https://incartec.co.uk/Ford/Fiesta-UK-Mk5/Stereo-U... for example

Had something similar to this in the Mrs MK1 Yaris.

No big lump directly attached to your Cig Lighter

It worked pretty well. Clear sound.
Used the Cars for UK Holidays a few times and don't recall any issues.

A proper Radio would be better but these type of things do work.
