DashCams Fitted By Halfords

Had a front and rear dashcam hardwired by Halfords a few months back.
As the cables have to run down the pillar on the passengers side where the side airbag is, do they fit them so they run underneath the airbag? As I heard if it's incorrectly fitted over the airbag it could be unsafe
It looks as if though the cable runs parallel and not across but don't want to mess around with anything

I fitted the dashcam myself. It was easy to do if you have small hands… I used a plastic trim lever to pull the A pillar plastic back just enough to get access without fully taking the A-pillar off. The airbag is like a folded up umbrella, a fabric cylinder that runs parallel up the pillar. Thanks to the airbags mounting brackets there is enough space between the airbag and the car to thread the dashcam cable behind the airbag.

Maybe whoever installed yours ran the cable up the side and then above the airbag?

As for the B-pillars, I tucked the rear dashcam cable into the edge of the roof lining.
