Hi, I really hope someone can help me with this.

I got an Xtrons DIB701 android 10 single din pop out screen head unit and USBDAB01 DAB dongle for my Defender, installed and all working great, though no FM signal due to crap defender aerial and average DAB signal using the stick on window DAB aerial.

I decided to upgrade the aerial to the Defender Nakatanenga FM DAB aerial, which comes with a DAB splitter.
https://www.nakatanenga.de/en/electrics/appliances...

Installed the aerial and powered the splitter from the Xtrons head unit 12v Red and Black wires as suggested when I contacted Xtrons support. FM signal now spot on but no DAB signal whatsoever and now total loss of power to all USB devices connected to the Head Unit, including the DAB USB dongle, hence no signal? as soon as I re-attach the window DAB aerial it connects strait away with DAB radio and power to my dash cam also attached to the head unit USB.

Both DAB dongle and Dash Cam are attached to the Xtrons USB bus cable not the USB outputs but I have tried swapping the Dongle to one of these and again it works only when attached to the window DAB aerial, I have also tried powering the Aerial splitter from 12v lighter socket with same results, and also tried with no power to the splitter and again same result of no power to the USB sockets.

Is there some setting on the head unit I need to disable? I am going to have to replace the dash now with DAB connected back to hit and miss windscreen aerial and FM connected to wing aerial for now, but very disappointing. Is there anyone out there that can help?

Thank You
