hi all,
I'm looking at buying one, always fancied one but i also like decent stereo / app car play etc etc, decent speakers too if i can.
Anyone on PH done any of the above to a figaro ?
I'd like to keep the car standard looking but improve the sounds . .
any advice?
Dan

I know the guy from Technology Connections on YouTube fixed the speakers on his Figaro:

So that's worth a watch to see the issues that can be encountered.

Having done ICE upgrades on similarly wee cars, but being decidedly un-wee myself, it's actually not so bad as it would seem as you can kneel on the ground outside to do most of the wiring.

ETA looks like you can get a double-din kit for the Figaro - I'd definitely look into that if I were you.

My wife has upgraded the sound system on her Figaro! The original unit is manufactured by Clarion, who actually offer a variety of upgrades that replace the internals with new kit, but keep the exterior design the same. More information and pricing can be found here: https://www.figaroownersclub.com/cdradio-upgrade/

My wife decided on the DAB option and some Alpine speakers. Overall, it's not brilliant in terms of audio quality, but certainly louder and clearer!

I recommend joining some Figaro owners club groups on Facebook; lots of useful information! These cars have various oddities! For example, they have a wet boot. If that boot is slightly open, you'll hear a weird bonging noise! Did you know the front facing air vents only blow cold air? No warmth! Hot air is only directed to your feet or the screen. Always check for rust too ... hehe
