Hello All,

2015 Octavia vRS, owned for about 4 years faultless until yesterday.

Switched on after being parked up for a few hours and noticed the radio wasn't tuned in, went to change station but all I had was FM, no DAB, the option doesnt even appear.

Columbus MIB1 - It was running 0360, now updated to 0411. Interestingly, in the 0411 update when I look at all of the modules "Tuner" is N/A, no submenu. If I look back at the previous 2015 install on 0360, Tuner has sub-menu for DAB and E2P. DAB was version 197384. However, I can no longer see this with 0411 version.

Media, Phone, Bluetooth, Nav etc are all still working.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee

Might be worth searching/asking on Briskoda - tho it's not the most active forum, I'm afraid - you may be waiting a bit for someone with the knowledge to turn up.

Cheers. I've got an idea of possible issue from Briskoda and car is now booked into VAG specialist for fault finding/recoding.

Any clue as to why it died, or just one of those things?

No idea, disappeared out of the blue. Would be nice to find out/see if it is repairable. These Harman units on the Canton cars are not easy to come by and quite expensive!

Lots upgrade to MIB2 on our cars for around £600 in parts (pre-owned) but I wanted to keep my original system. Found replacement part in Poland, shipped here and installed/coded all for around £300.

Unfortunately I have canton so stick a few hundred more on top for a MiB2 amp!
