Morning

I need to buy a dashcam for the new Elise that’s turning up in a month or so. Can anyone recommend one (ideally not costing the earth), that has the following:
Parking mode
Gps
Front and rear cameras
Wifi
Can be hardwired

I’ve a nextbase in my Bmw at the moment and it’s been very unreliable, so wouldn’t buy another.

Thanks in advance

Thinkware F200 pro, or Q800. Both brilliant cameras,

Next base is utter crap, SD card issues etc, only reason they are popular is because they are sold through and national motoring chain.

I like NextBase cams and have had them in all my cars and not had any problems but I have heard of them being unreliable so I wouldn't blame you for wanting to avoid them. I'll probably get something different myself when the time comes.

My recommendation would be a Viofo A129 Plus Duo or something of the like. Depending on how much you want to spend Viofo have products ranging from just a 1080p front and rear cam to three cam setups that include a 4K front cam. I've linked the specific models that I'd go for with your requirements.

Ordered a blackvue in the end. Will see what it’s like!

A bit late to this but I’ll be looking for dashcam in the next month or so. Have been looking at the Blackvue too but it seems to be a lot more expensive than other types. Are they that much better? Do like the idea of Blackvue doing the install so no comebacks if something goes wrong although it’s quite a trek from where I am.
