Android Bluetooth and Missing Contacts
Discussion
Bit of a strange one and I've googled the problem but I can't find an answer. Anyway...
I have two mobile phones (personal and work), both on Android and regularly drive two new-ish vehicles that my mobile phones are paired to the vehicle's media/nav/phone system.
I have noticed that if someone rings me from another mobile phone who is in my contacts list all is well and good, the contact name displays on the screen etc. If someone does the same from a landline, it only ever displays the number and not the name of the contact.
This same phenomenon happens with any combination of phone and vehicle so I can't say that it is a quirk of one combination.
Has anyone come across this before?
