Cobra Alarm - replacing an antique 9715 model

Hi Everyone,

The alarm on my old van has given up the ghost. I am looking to replace it and would like to get one that is compatible so i can just swap the alarm unit and keep the wiring as it is. The old alarm is a Cobra 9715. I have seen a 9718 on ebay but wanted to know if it is compatible.
