Hi Guys & Gals
Recently bought 2 cars, both have Dash mounted aftermarket 7" BT/ DVD/radio etc. etc.
I understand both can be used as 'sat navs' with the correct software via a microSd card - has anyone used a similar player as a satnav, how do they compare to a normal Satnav, and where did you get the software to do so? My current satnav at ~10 years old needs replacing, sometime soon, so the option of using the existing DVD player is appealing.
OOI one DVD is a Pioneer the other is an Xtrons
Thx

You need to tell us what units you have installed, people arent psychic.
Odds are you can cast your Google maps (the best sat nav anyway) to the screen anyway.
Sat navs on cards are always a poorer brother and sold at rip off prices anyway, I wouldnt bother.
