Porsche PCM repair/replacement
Discussion
After winter lay up the PCM on my 2013 Boxster has developed the seemingly common fault of frequent rebooting and map/navi not loading.
I've tried the reboot and no joy so assume the only option is replacement (new or refurb).
Apart from any other suggestions for an easy fix, my question though is, if I'm going to have to spend £600+ to get a repair/refurb unit, what are the sensible non-Porsche options including SatNav but allowing an upgrade to DAB, Apple Car Play etc. I could get for similar or a bit more?
Also, any recommendations for a supplier/fitter in the Bournemouth/Ringwood area please?
Thanks.
