Upgraded stereo on mk5 gti

Hi guys,


Quick question i have upgraded my stereo to a Android one. The car had parrot bluetooth installed we couldnt strip it off so we just hid it away. Will anything bad happen i guess not? Also i have a nokia phone holder from factory mounted on top of the glove box if i remove it theres a hole left what is the best thing to do ? As i hate that nokia phone holder.

Hi sorry can't help you with your queries but have you got a link to the Android head unit you fitted please? Looking for a stereo for my mk5 gti as the one it came with is broken. Thanks

Plug the hole with a grommet or use the opportunity to install something else there like an alarm light if you want to add one or add it just to cover the hole if you don’t want an aftermarket alarm.
