jag XF - how do I fit a dashcam?

Just purchased a Jag XF SportBrake 15reg and would like to fit a Nextbase dash cam I have removed from my last car.

Not sure where a 12v supply would be - would there be one in the module in the roof behind the rear view mirror?

If it's the X250 then there's a fuse box in the driver's footwell beside the accelerator pedal. You can easily run the cable from there up the A pillar, along the front of the headlining, to behind the rear view mirror.

Have a look in the owners manual and pick a switched spare way out of the fuse box to save the battery going flat. Either that or use a piggyback fuse to use a used way.
