So I’ve stumbled across an annoying problem whilst trying to replace my heater resistor of my punto evo. I managed to disconnect the wires fine, but when I looked at the resistor there was no 5.5 screw there in the first place! Unless I’m having a really dumb moment, I really can’t understand why it’s not coming out. I’ve tried prying it with a screw driver but it just won’t budge. Any help/tips would be appreciated

Is it possible the resistor slides to the left once you lift up the little tab slightly on either the bottom right corner or top left ? I’ve never done one but looking at the photos of new ones one eBay I’d try that.

Yes thank you. I tried pushing in the tabs but never thought about sliding it as well. It was an absolute bugger but managed to get it out after all that, cheers mate
