Xtrons ICE - How to?
Discussion
Just bought a car with new Xtrons double din ICE fitted - how can I get the sat nav to work - it's asking for a sd card - but there's no sd card slot visible - any Ideas? What should be on the sd card? - I have the manual for the unit which is KRAP and no use whatsoever - I'm not a technogeeek so please be gentle

Hey Guys
Check out the Xtrons thread above for more detailed explanation - The sd card slot was hidden under the very difficult to remove Button maked sd / usb - Despite being told by Xtrons that my ICE unit is Win Ce based I 've not yet found any usable software to try it - do you have any links for freeware/shareware software?
The Road map software being sold for £30 from Xtrons is well out of date being from 2017, I don't mind buying Up to date software from 2020 if I have to.

There's a few on ebay if you search for WinCE 6.0 Kudos maps, they all just seem to say "newest" or "latest" unfortunately.
If you want ease of use, it might be worthwhile looking to replace it with an android based unit, at lease these can operate from wi-fi (and hotspot) to download map updates/offline maps from google.
Just for reference, WinCE 6.0 is well over 10 years old and was officially classed as "end of life" in 2018, support and updates for anything WinCE based is going to be harder and harder to find for consumer grade devices.
