Recently bought a trailer and would like to buy a tracker with no subscription fees and battery only. The search has led me to the tk915 on ebay/amazon.

Anyone used this type?

I got a tk102 to hide in the battery pack of my ebike and it works pretty well because it uses the e-bike battery to charge. It is using O2 simple PAYG SIM which just needs a topup once every 6 months. I think your issue would be maintaining a charge in the battery?

Can get them with a 10000mah battery, should last 2-3 months between charge depending on use id have thought.

Interesting I’m looking at these for a trailer

OP, If you get the right battery pack with pass through charging, I guess you could charge it off the side light circuit
