That has been done already ,got a discount to cover cost .Not ALL cars come with 2 remotes , my MX5 had 1 remote fob and 2 keys from new. I can get a virgin blank key/remote from ebay (around £28), and an immobiliser programmer for in the region of £60 , but I don’t think the programmer is able to program the full functions of the fob .
Also many key cutting services eg Timpsons will not cut a customer supplied key
