Android head unit - interference / static noise
Discussion
Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone had any experience in resolving or could recommend a way forward for an issue I have....
Fitted a new aftermarket head unit for my BMW E46 and I have (electrical?) interference / noise coming through the speakers (even with just the main power cable connected and no ancillary devices fitted).
Any ideas to resolve this would be most welcome.
Thank you
Edit. The engine isn't running, this unit replaced an Asteriod Smart which I had no issues with however, it did come with an extra power extension connector (maybe to supress any electrical interference?). I have a Harmon Kardon speaker setup.
