Dash cam data recovery

Is it possible to recover a corrupt file from an SD card out of a Mobius dash cam. I had quite a crash on Monday that was not my fault and the dash cam has recorded the journey before the crash and afterwards but not the incident. I think the battery is dead in the camera as it is about six years old, when i hit the other car my van cut out and was dead which has cut the recording off and not closed the file properly. Is there a way to recover this missing file? Also if you have a Mobius check your battery or capacitor.

I am now in a similar situation, I need to restore data on the SD card. The video recorder recorded an accident, but it stopped working. The PC shows that the SD card is empty, but I remember exactly that the recording was going on at that moment. Now I'm trying to recover data using Partition Recovery. If it works out, then I will write the details here.
