Do any of you fine PH'ers have a dash cam that can be charged and will operate for a number of hours and not need to be hard wired in?

i am trying to avoid wiring in power supply and also want to keep the car as stock as possible, and not have wires everywhere.

Closest I've got is to run the camera off a powerbank.

Seems to last for hours.

There are battery packs you can get to power them, but they will need some wires to be ran. If you are looking for something completely self-contained, the unit would be unwieldy large for the usual installation location.

Example for Blackvue cams: https://blackvue.com/product/b-112/

Yep. Also note that the power source turns the camera on when you start the car. If you had to remember to switch on the camera every time you got in most people would forget, or not have it charged sufficiently.
