I'm struggling to work out what LED (55w equivalent) headlight bulbs draw.

I know they draw less current, but can I find out what???

I know the voltage divided by the wattage should give me the current in amperes, but I can't find the wattage.

Any ideas?

Ratings are a bit confusing. Nighteye H7 LED lamps are advertised as 80W but datasheet shows the operating current as 0.64Amp +/- 0.03A so at 12V that's less than 8 Watts of electrical power.

Not until I've bought (potentially) the wrong ones.

Sorted now. Worked them out to be about 8w, combined with 35w they are okay without wiring mods as the original wiring was for halogen 55w bulbs.
