Hi looking to replace the stereo in my Range Rover Classic. I want something half decent sub £100. All I require is Bluetooth so I can play Spotify via my phone. No CD player needed.

Cheers

Pioneer, Kenwood and JVC probably have you covered.

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/bluetooth/head-uni... - wouldn't order from that site as it's showing as an unencrypted connection.

It's been years since I bought an aftermarket unit, but I did have a Kenwood back in the mid 2000s which had bluetooth audio and sounded OK.

If it's a single DIN unit, any of the usual contenders will have something decent. Likes of Pioneer, Sony etc.

Put this one in my E46 BMW - bluetooth; no DAB as use the apps on the phone; reasonable quality; can control spotify from the HU but use the phone - happy all round

Pioneer sound pretty good to my ears, they seem to be the best choice at the cheaper end.

I've got a Sony Bluetooth single-DIN in my Jag, and it works a treat. The "Megabass" function makes good use of the car's (standard) speakers, too.

I can't remember the model number, but I know it's no longer in production, so whatever they've replaced it with will be fine, I'm sure.

EDIT: This is the one I've got. I can recommend the model, but I don't know the seller. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/264638115212

Some of the classics had separate amp with sub . Do you know the original units part number, I can check for you.

I’d spend a bit of time actually looking at them.

For all the functionality in the world, if it looks ugly on the dash it will always be out of place.

I think I would compromise quality to get a head unit that was sympathetically styled (I appreciate you may have a different view).
