I guessing this has been done, but can't find anything so....

What motoring apps do you use to aid driving?

I mainly just use GPS apps, mostly Here maps, apart for taking me off at junc 11 of the M62 and then back on again when travelling East it is fairly good. I bought a Sygic European maps which has got me around Europe OK, it is a lovely app with lane guidance free traffic warning, updates and safety camera warnings, but it can get confused with its directions, had to switch to Here maps the other day as it kept taking me around town then changing its mind and taking me somewhere else.

Tried them all - I drive for a living - Waze is (IMO) the only one worth having. It reacts much quicker to any problems ahead of you and can be configured to your tastes. And it doesn't use much data somehow!

Another vote for waze.

There are some things it could do with having that it doesn't but it's the best of the bunch for me. I particularly like being alerted to potholes and "road kill" biggrin
