Hi can anyone recommend a speed camera alert app for an iPhone that actually works, I’ve tried several and they’re all pretty useless.

Waze is probably as good as you're going to get. People will mark when the mobile units are active, but that's still not foolproof at quiet times. Also, you have to deal with plums marking Highways Agency cars as Police.

Something that alerts every layby that's ever been used for a mobile unit would go off so often to be unusable.

Would be interesting for someone to develop an average speed monitor for use where average speed cameras are active....
You could then balance the time spent at 20 - 25 mph behind a motorhome or tractor with the short stretch or road where you can get past..

There are several android apps that do that, just tap the screen when you go through a camera and it tracks it for you

I am quite interested in the Snooper 4Zero Elite BT device. This apparently does radar and laser detection in addition to having a GPS database.

Anyone used one? Are there any cameras in use in the Uk that it can’t detect?
