What's a decent alarm at different budgets ranging from cheap/diy up to middle road and high end?

Any that can use the existing car key?

Are proximity sensors still a thing?

Are aftermarket alarms really still a thing??! I’ve not heard of any (other than the obd2 port ones) for what feels like an age??!

If youve ever been to Auto Italia, it appears from the beeps that all Italian cars with an alarm from Fiat to Ferrari use the same alarm. So that suits all, dunno who makes it though!

And yeah 500/ 500X dont have alarms

Clifford are big at the minute, I follow a local auto electrician who swears by them. They're a few hundred quid but on your £20 grand car, it's worthwhile if it saves it once.
