Have had my late ‘08 (Land Rover say it’s an ‘09 car) for 6 months and amazingly everything on it works perfect except the hands free car kit.

Land Rover have confirmed that it was sold with a factory mobile phone car kit installed, and it has all the buttons on the steering wheel and dash, but I cannot “find” the damn thing.

It says “phone not fitted” on the screen

I can even see a “Land Rover” on Bluetooth but it needs a pin to connect.

Anyone any ideas what’s going on and how to get it working?

You need to pair your phone to the car

Does it actually have Bluetooth, it may be a built in hardwired phone system where you actually have to plug in whatever phone that has the same connectors?

Whats in the armrest?

its definitely a "smartphone" generation car, i think i have just been trying to be a clever and Land Rover really do just keep it that simple.

Cheers Guys, feeling stupid now.

"Phone not Fitted" on the screen actually means "Phone not paired"

Bluetooth pin was 2121 so cheers for that too!
