Mystery missing phone kit in Range Rover
Discussion
Have had my late ‘08 (Land Rover say it’s an ‘09 car) for 6 months and amazingly everything on it works perfect except the hands free car kit.
Land Rover have confirmed that it was sold with a factory mobile phone car kit installed, and it has all the buttons on the steering wheel and dash, but I cannot “find” the damn thing.
It says “phone not fitted” on the screen
I can even see a “Land Rover” on Bluetooth but it needs a pin to connect.
Anyone any ideas what’s going on and how to get it working?

Cheers guys, maybe it is as simple as that and i have been having a completely thick moment!
will try in a little bit, still looks a tad fresh outside.

Does it actually have Bluetooth, it may be a built in hardwired phone system where you actually have to plug in whatever phone that has the same connectors?
Whats in the armrest?
its definitely a "smartphone" generation car, i think i have just been trying to be a clever and Land Rover really do just keep it that simple. Whats in the armrest?
