Bluetooth solution for classic Lotus?
Discussion
Hi,
First post in this part of PH and I have looked through the last ten pages for an answer. The only possible solution I've found is the use of a UE roll. However...
I have a 1973 Lotus Elan +2. It currently has a 10+ years old head unit and because the mounting depth available is very shallow it sticks out of the dash about 50mm. I'd like to remove it and put a dummy, in-period push button radio back to get the dash looking standard again. I would like some music though... Is there a solution I can use which allows me to connect my iPhone to some kind of hidden controller for a car amp (fitted in the boot)? I'd need to control everything from the 'phone. Does such a thing exist? I have looked through some online sellers websites but can't see anything and thought I'd ask here first in the hope of getting any creative answers.
Thanks for any help,
Will

Something wrong there , 5 amp draw ! Ok 0 hz is impressive, don’t believe it . I have one of the Classic Car Stereo Hidden Bluetooth Amps in my Renault Spider - works very well. Not the most powerful/loudest system but I only have front footwell speakers at the moment - thinking about some rears too as it can power 4 speakers. Functions very well and as described can be completely hidden.
I would definitely recommend.
