Voice Control - Golf
Discussion
Same with the App Connect for Android Auto on my 2016 VW. £200 to activate.
The 'keys' (auth. codes) are supplied in a DVD box to the dealer who then plugs in his apparatus and updates the car.
Some independents do them, but the price is about the same. So didn't bother with either, given the phone does most things without connecting to the head unit.

'Voice Control', or rather the VW version, costs £££s to activate, but if you have Apple CarPlay running, you can use the 'voice' button on the steering wheel to activate Siri - Just hold the button down for a couple of seconds rather than giving it a short press.
(This is true for my GTi 7.5 - Can't confirm for other models but equally I can't imagine it would be any different)
