Ford focus 2009 information computer went blac

Hi, noticed a couple of days ago the information display has gone black. Other functions such as radio display working as normal. Have changed fuse 107 (instrument cluster battery supply, on-board diagnostics) but this made no difference. Also removed car battery and replaced after a time and still nothing. Not that great on cars as a female, (to put it honestly) but happy to give things a go if I know how to and what part of the car you mean!...
Any ideas? Have I checked the correct fuse? Thankyou in advance
