I assume it's probably been covered before but here goes...

Rough cost of having an aftermarket (Toad) alarm removed? I have all the original documents from the install, someone locally has quoted £195 to come and remove it.

Is that about standard?

Just really not a fan of aftermarket alarms and as much as I'm happy doing electrical stuff, I just don't trust alarms and am happy to pay to get it removed properly.

I've been quoted £70-£140 to have an old Clifford immobiliser removed, depending on how fully it has been installed (apparently they can disable a number of things) by one place, and 'about £100' by another. I'd imagine an alarm is a bit more involved and includes more sensors etc so £195 doesn't appear too unreasonable.
