Peugeot 207 battery light flashing with ignition off.

Hello.
Today the battery light in my Peugeot 207 has started flashing when the car is turned off. Also twice the alarm has started as I’m sat in the car with the engine off. I only replaced the car battery a few weeks ago and it’s been just fine since then. I’ve been driving the car literally daily for hours so it doesn’t make sense that the battery could be drained. Also what started happening today is whenever I open the car door, even with the key out of the ignition and the engine off, the car starts making an alert type sound that I’ve never heard before. When I close the door it stops. This only ever used to happen when the key was left in the ignition and the door was opened, with a different type of alert sound.
Do you think this is an electrical problem rather than being an issue with the battery? Thanks.
