Door lock problem

Hopfully someone can help,
Right my zafira key locking has broke, it used to work, key fob now doesn't lock or unlock, and when I lock the car manually with the key it will only lock the drivers door, every other door remains unlocked. when I manually unlock the car from the drivers door it wont unlock any doors unless I open the drivers door, the central locking button inside the car works to lock it but not when the drivers door is open so I lock the car through the passenger door, I have bought a new mechanism for the door but that didn't seem to help, the wires in the door seem okay visually, I have also checked the fuses and they're okay, I'm guessing it will be a wiring problem maybe in the door?

I assume you've tried replacing the battery in the key fob? Failing that wires can look, on the face of things, fine but the only way to really tell would be to get out a multimeter as it could be a break somewhere down the line.
