Make sure your sat nav is updated, on 6th April there will be a bug that could knock out some older systems.
GPS counts weeks as a 10 bit number, so every 1024 weeks, a sat nav could reset the date, or corrupt the navigation or location data.

Updated my aging tom tom last week, a bit if a faff and could not help thinking that when i used the tom tom website to tell me if my device was at risk, they would always say yes to sell more maps (interestingly my last map update before this was May 2018)
Think yourself lucky, mine cannot have any map newer than November 2015 on it. Needless to say I'll never again buy a Tom Tom device of any kind.My tom tom blue and me in the van has been having a mare today, only 6 year old. But time keeps resetting each time power goes off, to Sept 1 2009 at midday, and then it wont find any satelites. You have to stop, reboot it, after a few attemts it finds a lock, then manaually se tthe time and away you go, until you turn motor off then same again!
It wont sync to the van's time also despite that option being ticked on the blue and me preference menu.
I am away in it, but will have to try and update it on the web, annoying as live services subscription renewed today, £50 for fk all as it wont work now.

My TomTom is working fine. Bought it a couple of years ago with "free" lifetime updates of traffic, maps and speed cameras and hasn't let me down.
It even redirected me off the motorway and routed me through all the quiet little country roads when they shut the M20 to remove the pedestrian bridge that had been hit by by a heavy haulage truck. I had forgotten about the closure but TomTom got me to the family & friends gathering about an hour before most of the other guests arrived complaining about having been held up by traffic!
