Help needed with Spy One Way Car Alarm
Discussion
I am not sure if I have posted this in the right place or not but I just need a little electrical advice to help me wire in my Spy One Way Car Alarm. I am a reasonably competent DIY car electrician and think that I should be able to install this but the Chinese translated instructions are a bit of a joke. It is going into a classic car so I don't need a lot of the functions but a couple of wires are confusing me.
There is a Brown Wire 'ON' and a Yellow wire 'START' wire that are shown joining together and then going to a drawing of a switch and key BUT the drawing is of a different switch and key to the Ignition one where the thin white ACC wire is shown going? Is that a separate key to turn the alarm on and off? If so I don't want that so how do I wire around it. If it is meant to be the Ignition switch where do I connect the respective wires?
Then there is a Black/Brown wire that is the Immobiliser Bypass. The diagram doesn't show it connecting anywhere! What is it for and where does it go? Why would I want to bypass it anyway?
Any help would be most gratefully appreciated,
Puddles.
