I am keen to fit a tracker to my Focus ST (already have a disclok and clutch lock).

I'm particularly interested in the DB2 one link here.

Anyone have any experience of the DB2?

Recommendations sub 100 quid?

I think it is likely to be ok but you need to wire it in like a normal tracker thus if your wiring or location is obvious it can be found very easily.

Have you considered one of the rechargeable battery ones ? That way you put it where you want and with some thought somewhere not at all obvious.

No experience of the DB2, but had a play with a rechargeable Rewire job. Pretty accurate and easy to set up.

I have a Focus Titanium with an OBD tracker which as the name suggests plugs directly in to your OBD port.
Rewire security supply these. If you look on their site it will show you all the features that you can use with this.
They are very approachable for any info you require. I have had this for over a year now and it is perfect... plug it in and that’s it.

Wouldn't be obvious for thiefs to find and remove the OBD tracker, making it not-so-useful to find a car that gets stolen?

I hear what you are saying about it being obvious to thieves and if I had a high-end vehicle then I would put the tracker in an inconspicuous area. My Focus is an 8 year old diesel, so ullikely to be stolen by anyone other than joy riders who wouldn’t bother looking for one, so for me the OBD is a good choice.

It's not too big a job to relocate the ODB port anyway, even leaving a 'dummy' port where the original should be. Makes it trickier if the scrubber trying to steal your car tries to use it to get it started.
