Android headunits
Discussion
I've got one that's about two years old, and it's OK - the unit itself looks pretty OEM (which is nice), but the software on it was a bit janky, and made it seem a bit cheap.
After jailbreaking it to change the boot logo and installing a custom ROM with a much better looking launcher it now works well - but my understanding is that the more recent ones are much more polished anyway.

I've just installed a Sony XAV-AX3500 which is Carplay/Android - no CD etc, although it does have DAB. Everything else is off the phone. Bootup is very very fast, its slick, good quality etc. Standard double DIN face (although the back part is really small so plenty of room for yer cables.
