Kenwood BT73DAB not responding?
Discussion
My car radio has decided it no longer wants to work - it's a Kenwood KDC-BT73DAB, it powers up and the display works fine, but none of the controls respond. It was still playing from USB until I tried resetting it and now it's stuck on the demo mode.
I've also had it disconnected while at work (10hrs) and it's still the same on reconnecting.. is it completely borked or does anyone have any other ideas?

Very often unplugging will not reset the unit. Somewhere there will be a reset switch, the unit will need to have power for the reset to work.I've also had it disconnected while at work (10hrs) and it's still the same on reconnecting.. is it completely borked or does anyone have any other ideas?

Sorry, I should have been clearer - I pushed the reset button under the fascia while it was plugged in - this took it from playing the USB to the demo mode but still not responding.. I disconnected it after.
Try pressing every button to make sure one is not stuck as this will cause a “logic lock up” Gassing Station | In-Car Electronics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
