Adding DAB to my 2013 Mondeo

Hi all,

Its my first time posting here

I have a 2013 Ford Mondeo Zetec with a Sat Nav unit. Unfortunately it does not have DAB.
Can you recomend if there is anything that can be added to include DAB in this unit so that I can control it from the steering wheel buttons?

What does your car have? Aux socket? USB port? CD changer connection?

it has aux socket and USB port

I was actually looking for something that could be plugged into the radio unit and controlled via the steering wheel buttons.

You could look at the Dension DAB+U

The radio stations appear like files on a USB memory drive, so it should work with the steering wheel if you can select tracks from a USB memory stick with mp3s on it.

Silly question, does it have the DAB button in the radio menu?

Only reason i ask is that its quite common for the option to be there, but it not to work. Removing the radio fuse for 10 minutes sorts that!

I e tried various dab units, all a pain in the arse, wires all over the place, keeps dipping out

I now use radio stations through my mobile, works much better.
