Just taken delivery of my Cayman, am looking for a wireless Bluetooth camera I can fix to the number plate that will then bounce the rear view onto the screen in the head unit, has anyone done this before or have any suggestions

This is an ambitious project, I'm not aware of any products to do this on the market, or even a bluetooth camera. Are you an electronics engineer? That will help. The camera will need a power source even if the signal is bluetooth. THe PCM can't receive video with bluetooth without adaption
If you're looking for a plug & play solution that will be a new head unit with a wired reversing camera. All that can be fitted relativly easily, I've done so myself

Does the built in screen have an AV input?

You could try one of these and chuck the monitor that comes with it

I can't see it working seamlessly though, if it only gets power when your reversing light is on, it will then have to make the bluetooth connection which will take a few seconds.

It might be easier to get one of those reversing camera which goes through a rear view mirror?

Or maybe even something like this which doubles up as a dash cam, although I doubt the video quality will be great: https://www.newfrog.com/product/10in-dual-lens-bt-...

It’s hardly the biggest of cars. I managed perfectly fine with mine with just the rear sensors that were not really needed. With the way PCM works to do what you want would either be very costly or require a complete new system. Why do you want it?
