Hi end car audio in Herts
Discussion
Hi,
What 'level' of audio performance will you be wanting? will you be willing to have specific fabrication done for things like angled door builds and/or door cards with specific fabrication aspects? will you be wanting/going for a completely stealth appearance? how about things like having the door skins/roof/floorpan covered in sound deadening material? What your current anticipated level of spend? what car do you have? would you be wanting to retain the OEM in built audio head unit/setup and wish to 'hang' the new equipment you decide on to that? or, will you want/use a aftermarket high quality head unit and then have all the rest of the equipment connected to that?
There's some fantastic very well reputed car audio installers in the South East. I think you'll need to expand your range to this area overall and speak to them all before deciding on one to do your install.
As for brands, there's many out there, including some of the long established brands and specific newer ones for amplifiers, processors, speakers, subwoofers. Different brands also have various series' of products and are aimed for specific types of audio reproduction capabilities. For instance, Morel are fantastic sounding speakers and are usually used in high end installs where careful consideration has been done for optimum imaging, soundstage and preciseness of mid and high frequencies. If you are perhaps looking for a good blend of sound quality and where you might wish to sometimes play it very loud, then perhaps JL Audio and some of it's product ranges could suit. I'll assume that you won't be looking for a more SPL (or loud) at the sacrifice of sound quality type setup?!
More than happy to give you some recommendations based on your response to the above !
Cheers, Dennis!
