Hi, I had to replace battery on my Renault scenic 2007, now all four electric windows only move 3-ish" per click of the switch, they go all the way up and down but it now takes about a dozen flicks of the toggle, any ideas? Cheers

The same thing happened on my Laguna. After a couple of days of use the problem went away by itself. I put it down to the battery not being fully charged.

Its the "anti-pinch" mechanism that needs re-setting. You need to open each window fully by how many operations of the switch it takes then holding the switch in the down position for about 3 seconds when it is fully open, then close it holding the switch in the up position for 3 seconds when it has fully closed. You may need to do this several times until they operate normally again.

Just curious but why would mine sort itself out without doing any of that?
