Key fob upgrade

I was recently looking to buy a smart for my first car and one of the things that was really off putting was the hideous key fob. Yes smart cars are hideous anyways but I love a nice looking key. This is why I was wandering if it was possible to program a new porsche or bmw key for example to my smart or if I would have to stick to an aftermarket Chinese mod.

I used to use a Jaguar X-Type key fob on my Ford Focus Mk1 as the key blade's were the same and the Jag's key looked nicer as it was a flip key.

As for your question, no idea that it was possible.

Very unlikely to be possible, unless it just happened to use the exact same frequencies and security protocol.

As an aside I find it quite remarkable that people could be put off owning a car just because of the way the keyfob looks.

I am still looking to buy the car but it was just one of the first visual mods I wanted to do.
