Pluggery help needed.
Discussion
Hello. So I got a new to me 2005 Volvo XC90 yesterday.
It had a hard wired in Sat nav which is useless (installed when brand new). I have removed it all but have this cable poking out of the dash, from under the central speaker.
I was wondering if I could use this as a power supply to my smart phone if I use a mount to get it on the dash? The ends are wrong, is this the adapter I need? The Sat nav said it used 5v input, is this the same as for a phone?
Thanks.

Yes it should work for an Android phone, it is only providing a 5v supply. Iphones have a different connector. It had a hard wired in Sat nav which is useless (installed when brand new). I have removed it all but have this cable poking out of the dash, from under the central speaker.
